Considering a wheel purchase for my M1. 20” will be the diameter, probably 10” front, 11” rears. Considering similar styles but 1 piece forged and multi piece. Like the Signature SV703 forged 1 piece but also like the SV306S forged multi piece or the Signature 5. The multi piece woukd allow me to use 2 colors such as polished and black, or red and black or brushed and black to really make the wheels pop and not look like every other wheels on the street. I am not sure if all the bolt heads that hold the wheel together are a distraction or not.
The 1 piece are just super clean and uncluttered but then I would have to pick just 1 color and everyone has black but my car is only black and red and I’m not sure I’m bold enough to run solid red wheels. Brushed aluminum or gunmetal would look good as well.
thoughts on multi piece wheels besides they are about $1500-2000 more per set?

I don’t have any experience with 2 piece wheels but looking at the pictures you posted, those 2 piece that are polished and black really jumped out. They look really good. Wheels, like so many other things with car stuff, are really a matter of personal taste. If your M1 is black with red accents, a red wheel would look good (and would definitely be different). As you said, I don’t know if I’d be bold enough to rock them, but maybe a 2 piece with black spokes and red lip? With black cars, I’m a big fan of the blacked out look too so all black wheels would be another consideration if you like that look.

That multi-piece black and silver looks great.

How will you use your wheels? General usage, car show, or tracking? that will make a difference. I love the two piece wheels. I did a set for my Bullitt primarily because I wanted to stick with the theme of polished lip but have something else. Also do just settle for the factory finishes although they may be good. If you use a quality wheel guy he can get your wheels finished in a number of difference finishes. I always will hide my bolts as I feel they take away from the design. If you are looking for multipiece I would suggest you look at BC Forged as well. Really great value.

I like 3 piece, this way if you ever harm a wheel be it from a curb rash or a pair of pliers in the road. you can fix it without having to replace the whole . Depends if the added cost is worth it to you.

I prefer the cleaner look of the one piece wheel. You could do a red tinted black finish ?

Agree it is about usage and personal preference. I currently have both.

Looks great. Any thoughts to share on how the 21” wheels behave on the street? Did you notice any difference between tge forged 1 piece and the 3 piece? 1 piece has got to be considerably lighter, huh? Any thought about going to a 25 aspect ratio tire to more closely match factory height? Almost nobody runs 21’s and most say 19” give the best performance. I think the 21” look amazing but do wonder why they have such a small fan base. This wheel decision for me is a tough one simply due to the initial investment for Signature or similar quality wheels~ $6000-7500 plus tires

Couple of thoughts... I believe everything is about how it is used. For me the car is toy utilized for backroad driving and thrills in proper areas. Pushing it to limits available on the streets. I have not tracked the car (although would be fun and was at the Track Attack). I am not the street racer type. Point of this is there are incremental differences. The car is fast and a tremendous amount of fun. The monoblocks are a bit lighter than the 2 Piece but for what I do it is not noticable. I believe there is a small fan base because you do have to purchase tires as well as the cost of the wheels. From a performance view, the 20" that the car was designed with probably does perform better if you are trying to cut time at the track. It is all prospective and desire. I ended up with 21" wheels only because when I ordered my 307s from Terrance at Signature ...you had to go to 21" in the multipiece to cover the size of the calipers. I had 107s on my 350 and just loved the look. So I combined the two and went 21" in the 107's. Now you other question about 25 ratio... I do not think the height difference has made much difference in speedometer or much of anything that matters to me. I would be afraid of going to 25 just because of how much more you would feel..bumps, road imperfections, etc... I have no experience with 25 aspect ratio so others may be more informative there. Either way you go cannot be wrong. It is an awesome car and Signature makes some great wheels. Terrance (50Deep) is absolutely awesome to work with! As a plug. if you have any interest in the 307s I have on the market just let me know and we can work out some deal.

If you are tracking the car, 18" for performance. Now just for looks, sure go big. Also, the larger diameter, the harder it is to come up with tires. 21" is in a wierd no mans last, where most MFG's go 22" or 20". I am sure there are some 21" rims out there, but it is far fewer.

At that price point, have you looked at litespeed wheels?

I have not but I certainly will. Thanks.
btw, I did find both Michelin sport cup and Pirelli P Zero in 325/25/21 when I did a quick Search.

The 21” really only pertains to the GT500 cars running multi piece. A 20” multi will not clear the calipers on a GT500.

if you want super light, stick to monoblock. Multi piece look sexy on these cars but are heavier.
