Made a bunch of changes on the car. New T-bar clamps, JLT intake, Tial BOV, Cats removed, NGK 6510 plugs. All which were self installed but ran the car over the weekend any didn't have any issues.

Took the car to a local mustang performance shop and had my fore fuel system installed. Brought the car home and starting data logging for Lund and the car is running extremely lean at idle. Lund thinks I might have a massive air leak somewhere but since I didn't install the fuel system not really sure where to look. Any suggestions? Also have CEL P0300.

Considering an "air leak" in the fuel system would usually be called a "fuel leak" since the fuel escaping the system is of a lot more concern than the air that would be entering... I am going to assume what they mean is an *exhaust system* leak before or near the o2 sensors giving you a false lean reading. This could cause the short term fuel trim to max out trying to correct a non-existent lean condition.

Not getting much sleep thanks to a new baby but I think your on to something.

Don't have the car in front of me at the moment but after asking Lund for some suggestions he said to look after the MAF sensor. Thinking the mostly likely culprit would be a vacuum leak since I doubt they had to remove any thinking in front of the throttle body. Also think I would hear an exhaust leak.

Youre right, an air leak in the intake system could cause a genuine lean idle since air would be entering the system un-metered behind the MAF. Good call. That is probably what Lund is referring to.

Got in to the car tonight checking all the vacuum fittings, clamps, 02s, BOV, and exhaust clamps. All looked good. Didn't have a smoke tester so thought if I smoked a stoggie and blew the smoke in to the vacuum lines maybe I would see something. Sure enough found the factory gasket between the throttle body spacer and the intake was blown out.

My guess upon examination was it was pinch either during the intial install or when the OPG & TG was installed. Shit happens but always nice when you can find it and not pull all your hair out.
