Does anyone know if fordperformanceparts.us has any actual connection to Ford performance? I placed an order with them about two months ago that I still havent recived. Sent a couple of emails with no response, and they dont seem to have a phone number.

Don't think I've ever run across the ".us" version ... here's what "Whois" is showing about that site name:

Check any web domain name on whois if ever in doubt about ownership. I would call Ford Performance and inquire about your order if it’s been 2 mos and no receipt of goods.

I am not sure how these things work, but the confirmation email I received came from an @ford.com email address, like the registrant email listed on Whois. Is it possible for someone outside of Ford to have an email address like that?

FP parts can be trivially sourced from Levittown, CJ POny and American Muscle, typically at significant discount to FP pricing. Call your CC company and cantest the charge (or block it) and order from places with an established reputation.

I am well aware of that. I was ordering a cheap item that no one else seemed to be able to get to me quickly at the time. I am more interested in finding out if they actually have any association to Ford at this point.

the indication is 'yes'. Though when you call the FP number ask to speak with their webmaster and ask what's up.

Hmm, good question? I had my FORD dealership order the part directly from them. The part took about a week to arrive.

Capaldi Racing is a great source for anything Ford Performance. They are not only Ford Performance dealer, they are the source for a good many of the Ford Performance parts. They offer a substantial savings from ordering from most Ford Performance sites. Great folks at Capaldi racing...I know them personally and have used them as my FP source for many years. They are located in Michigan, just a few miles north of Detroit.

Thought I would update. No one from Ford would anwser any questions about this. It seems to be a genuine Ford website, but I couldn't find out anything more. Seems very strange. I disputed the charge with my cc and they said the company never responded so I got my money back.
