Check with your dealer for the points. The app will not apply them until, I believe, the dealer has entered them. Just for the heck of it, have you setup your Ford owner account? You can see if you points and oil level show up there.I have 0 points I thought I was supposed to get 42k points for downloading the app. no the car has 2K miles I don’t need to reset the OLM yet. not sure about the account... the points I thought should be there for downloading the app itself. The oil life should be automatic....Check with your dealer for the points. The oil should display. That would be a question for the service department.
Sorry I couldn't be more help. I'm sure you will get it all sorted out.

IIRC, I was told that it would take up to 45 days for the points to appear after the date of purchase of the car and that I should call support if they hadn't shown by then. I called the support number on the 46th day, and they showed up one day later.not sure about the account... the points I thought should be there for downloading the app itself. Presuming you turned on the WiFi in your car are you seeing the proper values for mileage and air pressure?Lol... yeah I’m wondering where my oil change monitor is
You dont get the points for just downloading the app. you get them for buying a new car that has sync 3 or other specific options. there are things you have to do. one the dealer has to report the car as sold to ford, you have to active the modem on board and several other things as well. go to this page https://www.ford.com/fordpass/ scroll down to where it says join and the terms are there. The main thing is the dealer has to imform ford the car has been sold and also you have to active the cars modem and agree to be tracked for 6 months. then you get the points.
Yeah, no. The app gets updated on a regular basis. Try setting up your account on Ford Owner and see what you can there. If oil level shows up it might be the app. And that brings up another idea. Have you logged off and then on again? Removed and readded your car? Maybe ever delete the app and reload. Not doing that. Yeah my salesman called me about activating it... oh well. I’m have no plans to use the modem either.
And yes the tire pressure and fuel mileage are correct. Maybe I have an updated version of the app.

Lastly do not confuse the modem/Fordpass Connect which is free with the hotspot for which you pay a data charge to AT&T.
yes the other stuff should work anyway without doing the dance for free points. oil tires and such might have to call a fordpass help line mine acted up and they had to update something on their end. as for the points. no you dont have to pay for anything but you do have to activate the modem(not sure why) and it does require you to set up a free att account. IN all the small print in order to keep your points you have to let the modem stay active for 6 months (again all free) and allow them to collect usage data. If you disconnect the moden in that time they take the points away. Its a bit of bullshittery but if you want the points. But the oil tires and all that should work sans points. Might just have to call fordpass to get a fix like i did.
My brother and I just picked up a 2019 GT and a 2020 GT both 301a both automatic's. I have ford pass with remote start lock/unlock ect... and his has ford pass with lock/unlock only. The only difference is that he has lane keeping and advance cruise. why no remote start for him?Oh no just 301A so I expect that's why I don't have the hardware then thx!
In 2019 only the 401a got FordPass Connect with the modem. In 2020 even the 300a has the modem. My brother and I just picked up a 2019 GT and a 2020 GT both 301a both automatic's.
