I did a master reset (so that I could remove the phones that were stuck in the system and add my phone back in) and then installed build 21194. Before the reset and update I had oil life showing on Ford Pass. After the reset I had to initiate Ford Pass again on the car. No oil life now, even with the update to build 21194.

Did they just remove the oil life % from the app?

I swear I used to be able to see the stat in the app somewhere.

Anyone else notice this? Or am I just not looking hard enough?
Me too.no oil status.i idid sign up for monthly health reports though.ive had issues upgrading cars systems like sync.before so I haven't put in latest issue.i can live with oil status gone,I just drive 2000 miles a year so I just change it once a year and check my oil level monthly, did delete and adding app back but no difference.oh well

I actually checked the app just now, and saw I had a Vehicle Status Alert.

clicked the nofitication, and Isee my oil life remaining % and a bar graph lol.

Not too sure why they removed it from the front page. I also cannot seem to pull up the oil life % manually. I think it needs to pop up as an Vehicle Status Active Alert or something..

It’s really nice how consistent this experience is for everyone.
POS. I just get in the car and check everything myself in the morning. What a waste of an app.

Agree 100%. Mine used to show oil life too. Now it just shows the odometer and fuel level. If you don't have the remote start feature then this app is basically useless. Ford could have done so much more with this.

I think this GIF describes the Ford pass app perfectly:

I don’t understand how some of you can’t see the oil percentage on the vehicle screen. I don’t have to click on notifications or status

What’s sync build are you on? If you are on 21098 that is your problem. My stuff fixed after I installed build 21194
I'm on 21194, got a '19 Bullitt. I think there was a thing about them not putting the right modem in 2019, but did in 2020 or something.
Does this sync automatically via Bluetooth, or do you have to enable Ford Pass via USB? I have this disabled as I use Android Auto via USB.

I don't see my oil life or fuel level either.

Agree. On a manual transmission car this app is virtually useless. I check the oil life counter fairly regularly and glance at the odometer and fuel gauge every time I drive (i.e. daily).

I'm guessing it might have to do with something with the app on iOS vs Android. I see you're using the app on iPhone

SURE!! After all, isn't Ford now a "technology company?"

I think they announced that around the MachE release and their OTA updates and all.

For real though, I wouldn't hold your breath on this one. I'm also on Android and manual. Not even sure why I have this silly app, I literally NEVER use it.

Perhaps the vehicle connectivity was reset (in the vehicle). That has to be enabled to send the info to the app.

I've had the app for 3 years. It used to show the oil life and now it doesn't and hasn't for a long time after some update broke it. I've removed the app and re-installed in both the car and on the phone. No change.

Android or Carplay makes no difference. The Ford Pass app in the car communicates with your your phone when you plug it in. I think you need the modem in order to get any meaningful info from the app.

This app could have been very good given all the digital info flying around on the Can-Bus in the car. It could have displayed way more status and diagnostic info.
