You couldn't be any further from the truth. The hood, fenders, A pillars, and front clip are all unique and not interchangeable. The hood was lowered for better aero and the fenders widened to increase footprint tolerances, accommodate the front splitter, vent the brakes, and better aero (what's that about no performance?). The radiator support is unique. The knuckles, control arms, and of course magnetic ride control are all unique. The wheel hubs are unique to accommodate the brakes which are not interchangeable, discs or calipers. The active exhaust is unique and controlled by the drive modes and kill switch. The transmission was built specifically to mate to that engine. The MT82 cannot survive those types of revs without clutch and flywheel work at minimum. The dual clutch assembly in the 350 is unique. The rear springs and how they're spun, half shafts, and drive shaft are unique.

Yeah, the GT350 is just a riced out GT for sure.
Well stated but come on...It is just a regular GT:D
Are you new to the Ford and Mustang world?
Time to put homeslice on ignore. I am losing IQ points.

This thread delivers... Facebook style content. It's like the little blurbs, normally with a heading like, "This is a game changer", where the brand fanboys and girls show up to scream about their favorite. Entertaining though.

The GT350 is well worth it, IF you can get it for MSRP. The prices I see the dealers selling them for right now tho, I'd much rather mod my GT. But taking nothing away from the 350. It's a badass car. Not badass enough to pay $20-30k over MSRP for though. But if you can get one for the MSRP around 50k, its certainly worth it.

I'm pretty GDP is just a fucking troll at this point. And I agree that people think way too much about this stuff. Enjoy your car.

So when is Ford going to redesign the Mustang and shove a V-10 under the hood?
A V8 is so passe! With gas under $2/gallon...why not have production car that gets 2 mpg? 700-1000 hp is certainly large enough to be able to trailer a fuel tanker behind to get you to the next gas station up the road.

I'm not saying it's not a fine piece of engineering. I just don't get the rabid fanboyism following of it.

Not really I just have not spent hours reading up on the gt350.

Why because I have my own opinions?

Very long thread about something very trivial, Ford Racing/Ford Performance/SVT did NOT design or work on the Mustang GT officially. They did work on the rest of the cars mentioned. Whether or not it is mentioned does NOT change how your car performs or is viewed by others. Jeez...

Sounds great! Probably sell a bunch of them. V-10 6L with a flat plane crank. With an SCJ drag pack option for twin turbos and suspension goodies.

Most don't remember the 2002 Ram Air Trans Am with the 350 HP LT1. Yes, It was fast. Especially at the time. 13.5 in the 1/4 out of the box. About the same as most 1969-70 muscle cars. The GT is A LOT more powerful than that.
They had the LS1 in them from 98-02. They where really fast even by today standards. My 1999 Camaro SS went 12.9 @ 108 mph bone stock. I didn't beat that time yet in my 5.slow but only had it at the track one time so far. I love my mustang but it is way too heavy and it wheel hops like crazy.
