I just received my Ford Performance pack, the instructions say to register the Voucher ID online. I don't have a windows computer and was planning to have the ASE certified shop install everything for me for the warranty.
Do I still register the voucher ID on my own computer first, or should the shop do that? Basically if I register it will that make it so the calibration software can only be downloaded on the computer it was registered on?
Edit: from the instructions it looks like the shop will have to do it using my account details that I created.
"The ProCal 4 tool is shipped without vehicle calibrations. The end user must register with Ford Performance Parts (FPP) to download the ProCal 4 software. The software provided to install performance calibrations to the ProCal 4 tool is compatible only with Windows 7 and newer."
