I recently purchased a 2016 GT/CS in great condition and low miles with a Barton shifter upgrade that I love (and highly recommend). Ordered some performance upgrades including the Power Pack Stage 2 kit that I'm looking forward to receiving and installing.
Was randomly watching a video on the Ranger Raptor where they did a similar Ford Performance upgrade and they realized (and were frustrated to find) that Windows OS is required for the software. Can someone confirm for me whether or not this is required for the S550 tune (didn't see anything outlining this when I ordered)? I have Chrome OS, a Mac laptop for work, and a Mac desktop as well. I understand that I can download a trial of Parallels software to emulate a Windows environment, but don't think I'll be able to do so on my work laptop due to restrictions.
So, my questions are --- is Windows OS required for this tune? If so, can I still move forward utilizing Parallels on my desktop computer or does it need to be a laptop that I use with the OBD reader in the car? Welcome any recommendations from folks who've been in a similar spot. Thanks all.
