So not strictly M1 related but my Ford Pass app isn’t connecting/showing any status ie: odometer, oil life, fuel, location etc. Car is stored for the winter on tender in conditioned garage. Status has been like this for at least a couple months and I don’t remember this happening last winter but I could be wrong. My account still has all my info & car info. I did push the start button to wake the car up thinking this would connect to the ford pass app. 🤷🏻‍♂️ normal ? or something I can do besides starting/driving the car ?

Mine is doing the same thing. Once the car sits long enough for deep sleep mode to activate the ford pass app does not work. you will need to start the car with the keyfob to reset everything.
Just let it sit in storage until your ready to pull it out and enjoy the car. Starting it up just to reset will do more damage then letting it sit.

BTW, I'm near Cleveland and mine is in hibernation until spring also.

Ok, thanks. Probably happened last winter and I just don’t remember. Yeah no way I’ll start it just for that. I’m looking at 2 - 2-1/2 till it hits the road. Thanks again

Yeah mine wont see the light of day until mid March at the earliest, depending on weather. Usually it's around late March, early April.

Fordpass notifies you that the car goes into deep sleep mode and will be offline. Happens in 2-3 weeks after last drive to save battery.

I wouldn't like your winters. We have freezing and snow for 3 months but yet I still manage to drive it once or twice a month on a dry road. Couldn't last without it.

Hard not driving it for sure but refreshing knowing the season will soon be here. Plus it’s a good break to do other things including being lazy

Thank God for the mild weather in Virginia. I would hate to store my car for several months and not drive it because of the harsh weather conditions. I think I'd rather get a high performance pick up truck instead!🤪

I enjoy the Gladiator year round so enjoying it in the winter makes up for storing the M1.😁

Nice! That's the way to do it! I guess the motorcycle season is also pretty short!

Our son lives in Hampton, we considered making a move to Richmond but I don’t know 🤷🏻‍♂️
I grew up in Hampton and still live in the same area. Richmond is very nice! We go there often for the restaurants, etc. The Jefferson Hotel is a great place to stay.

When I lived in So. Cal. our yacht club closing day ceremony was the night before opening day. We would extinguish a lantern while partying at the bar around 10pm or so, and the opening day ceremony would commence at 10am, for a 12 hour off season.

My Mustang gets less than that, It takes a few minutes to change wheels/tires to set with A/S, and drive year round.

My ford pass doesn’t sent me notifications anymore. It used to be a great app, now it’s not the same.

Yes I have checked my settings, uninstalled, installed, etc etc and it doesn’t work like it used to couple of years ago.

It just could have one of its moments. Give it some time. I have never received any notification (read to the phone notification bar). The only way I can learn about any notification is to open the app, wait a bit, until it figures out what to do and then, eventually, it shows me a notification.

My point is that, the current version of the app doesn’t push the notification. It hasn’t at least for me for some time. I used to get notification about the car going into deep sleep mode in my phone screen.

It also used to have a cool data recorder that will say how you drive, route you took, etc etc. All of that is gone.
