What do you guys think about the Ford ESP (Extended Service Plan)?

Flood Ford seems to sell Ford ESP's for pretty cheap (more than $1k under my dealer). I'd love to have a 8 year/125,000 mile warranty on this thing (basically the entire time of ownership of my car). Is this necessary? Only mods I have are SW Catback and JLT Oil Separator. I may add lowering springs in the future.

Does anyone have any experience with Ford ESP? Which plan level would be most beneficial on a mustang (If any)?

I got the 7/125 top of line plan.

2200ish I think. Can't remember right now.

New engine and a turbo at that. Figured well worth the piece of mind.

Bought my Mazda through a ford dealer in 08. Turbo. Got ESP... Was well worth it from my experience. I got more out than I put in.

May not always happen that way. But I drive a lot and want to make sure there's no big issues.

It's just extra insurance if you look at it that way.

Less than $1.00 a day......

I did the same for similar reasons. With the Ford ESP I know the hassles will be reduced as well, so definitely worth going with the real Ford plan.

Didn't realize there was a thread on that. Not very many are explaining what ESP plan they are getting though.

The price between Premium and Care Plus is so drastic. Is the extra stuff even needed?

Below the picture is a link to the entire list when extended. Seems to be different coverage among the sections itself since it's too large to fit.

I'm looking at 8 years / 125,000 Miles / $50 Deductible from Flood Ford ESP.

It's $2010 for PremiumCare and $1375 for ExtraCare. Is the extra coverage that necessary? I'm coming from a simple econobox Honda where I drove it for 10 years and nothing fell apart. Not sure how Ford / newer cars bloated with technology is going to be.

7 yr / 100k/ 100 ded. is $1105 on Flood Ford. 8 years/$50 ded. makes it cost more and 125k makes it way more.

I just don't see it being double the price that's what I mean.
Yes the extra $635 is worth it because it covers your audio and saftey systems on your premium GT which would cost a fortune to fix out of pocket.
