So I was on an ESP contract site looking at extended warranty prices. There is a $60 option for Interior/Exterior Lighting Coverage. It says this covers:

"Covers all factory-installed interior and exterior lighting – HID, LED, halogen bulbs and standard incandescent"

I know the fogs and tail lights are LED and I am concerned if an LED goes out the entire housing will need to be replaced? ($$$$)

I was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on his? Worth it?

I got everything covered for 7 years and paid much more you will ever pay in the USA. $2,400 CAD. But the S550 is a brand new car with new lights. Never know if the money was worth it. Ask me please in 7 years from now on. :D

At the dealer today i was quoted 1800 for an ESP of 96 months and 60000 miles. Rather then jump at it i searched on the web and found on Lombards the same policy for 1150, with a discount code of 186.00. Went back to the dealer and he wouldnt match it. Normally i dont do ext warranties, but for 96 months of coverage for under a thousand seems like a good deal. And 60 thousand miles in eight years is plenty as i only do about four thou a years worth of driving in my Mustangs.
