  1. How is everyone transporting their big dogs...front seat?

I bought a custom fit cover from Covercraft https://www.cjponyparts.com/covercraft-seat-covers-endura-precisionfit-rear-mustang-convertible/p/SEATC138-V/ It’s expensive and takes time to install and remove (I leave it on my 2020 GT Premium Convertible) but it fits excellently and is not bad...
  2. AC Vents ... Aesthetic Modifications?

Check out American Car Craft. They make several different versions in stainless. I have the ones with the pony. They also sell both 3 and 2 vent sets, depending upon whether you have the center dash gauges (PP1).
  3. Anderson Composites GT500 Fender vents on S550 !? Thoughtsssss ?

I’m all for body mods and have a few on my 2020 GT convertible, but those don’t do anything for me. If I was going that route, I’d go for the Roush fender vents which, IMO, look better and are $1200 cheaper.
  4. GT OEM Complete Exhaust System

Complete OEM exhaust system removed from my 2020 GT Convertible w/PP1 after less than 5k miles. Some minor surface rust but car was never driven in ice or snow. This is NOT an active exhaust. Sorry, but local pickup in Boston area only. No shipping due to size and weight. $300 or best offer.
  5. I upgraded my suspension and I am sick of the constant clunking noise

Second the comment about sway bar end links. I had the same problem when I installed a whiteline suspension upgrade. Changed to Steeda end links; problem solved.
  6. 2018+ and Coil covers?

Looks like someone tackled the 2018+ coil cover challenge. Not bad looking but the cost is prohibitive for many. Maybe a manufacturer will finally wake up! https://pyramidoptimized.com/product/gen-3-cam-covers/
  7. Avoid --> BLUEOVALINDUSTRIES.com and this Ford part# VJR3Z-16C630-D. Read Below.........

I’m posting only to keep the Blue Oval Industries —and Yates Performance — thread alive. I wish I’d read the reviews before ordering. I ordered a Love the Drive wind deflector from Yates Performance and received my item promptly. However, one bolt on bracket was severely bent. In addition to...
  8. The 60th Anniversary Mustang® GT coupe sweepstakes is now open

    Yup. Aren’t you thrilled? Not.
  9. Ford email - 60 year LE

Well, the marketing department did the job to “make us look.” I’m guessing we all expected something more than a chance to pay for a blue paint job. Meh.
  10. 2018-19 Radiator Extension Covers

I considered those, but there are two problems: 1) they don’t cover all of the area behind the headlights, and 2) most, importantly, they only work with OEM induction; won’t work with aftermarket CAI. I’m still clinging to hope someone will come up with a real solution. These are nice, but not...
  11. Winter Slumber For My GT

I’m in the Boston area and feel your pain on all fronts. Watching the snow now, listening to the sand and plow truck drive by, trying to decide whether I want the Pats to win or lose to the evil empire to secure draft position. Trying to decide what new mods I can do this winter on my 2020 GT...
  12. Should I Upgrade To The Ford Performance Front Control Arms Too?

If you decide to go this route, I have a set with less than 5k miles on them from my 2020 GT PP1. I went with Steeda because of geometry change when I lowered, but the FP are perfectly fine. PM me if interested.
  13. DWS06 In Massachusetts winter for a majority daily driven car

Just personal comfort level and preference. Obviously, people have been driving all sorts of rear wheel drive vehicles in snow for more than a century. I bought my GT Convertible as a fair weather sports car and I’m fortunate to have the option to drive an AWD vehicle year round. But, to your...
  14. DWS06 In Massachusetts winter for a majority daily driven car

From MA….I’m a huge fan of DWS06 tires. I ran them on my Audi A7 Quattro and I run them year round on my 2020 GT Convertible w/manual. I had a 65 mile commute a year ago and felt very stable in rain and even light slush during the winter. However, I would not drive a rear wheel drive sports car...
  15. Wireless CarPlay

My sense is that the wireless adapters are hit or miss. I have two of the same model. One in my 2020 GT works perfectly consistently; one in our 2017 Volvo XC is quite wonky.
  16. Redline Tuning Hood Strut vs Steeda S550 Mustang Hood Strut Kit ?

+1 for Roush vs. FP hood struts. I started with FP but found the single point mounting brackets on both the fender and the hood to be unstable. Roush — and maybe others — mount with two fasteners on each bracket on both hood and fender. Much better. The gas struts themselves are pretty much the...
  17. 21 GT Non PP car wanting PP Springs & Struts & shocks, but don't want to LOWER..........

Anthony, it’s probably not convenient for you, since I’m in Boston, but I just removed OEM springs and sway bars from my 2020 GT with PP1. Also, front control arms. Less than 5,000 miles. Also have full OEM exhaust which may be the same as non-PP (not active exhaust). Steve
  18. Ford Performance, Redline or Steeda Hood Strut?

Same issue here with the FP struts bottom mounts “twisting “ a little. But, they seem solid, nevertheless. The mounting cap screw also started to rust, so I replaced them with stainless steel. Functionally, the struts work fine, but if I was to replace I’d go in a different direction.
  19. New tires... Conti Extreme Contact Sport 02

To elaborate, I mounted the Conti Extreme Contact DWS 06 Plus. Very pleased with the ride and performance.
  20. Are there different speakers in a convertible vs coupe?

I’m pretty sure the rear speakers are coaxial, thus the Ford math…
