Wait. are you saying if I install a rotary knob in my GT it'll give me a DCT too?

Excellent. I figured it would be more work than that ...
Yeah. isn't that great? And did you know that if you save a graphics file in Photoshop as a .pxr file, it automatically become Toy-Storyesque?

Still haven't seen any mention of remote start.

Cost. He's not wrong.
Right, at this point, the 10-speed is all over Ford, Mustang, new Explorer, F150, I'm sure there's a very practical economy-of-scale with at least some of the components. It makes no business sense to introduce a $20K transmission into cars that start in the 30s, or to make it a 3rd transmission as some kind of upscale option (hahaha, 6-speed $0, 10-speed $1595, DCT $22,000)

I'd also suggest that the use case for an ultra high performance, high dollar vehicle is totally different, and that the 10-speed offers much better fuel economy in a market segment where that's a factor.

I'm 100% behind the DCT. It's what makes the GT500 interesting as a road car, drag car, and a road course car. In fact, I hope it ends up as an option in the GT350R in the future as well.

That said, when it comes to gear changes, I find myself much preferring the stick over the paddles in my Charger. While I found the paddles more appealing on other cars like an Evo-X, having both options is important. I hope the paddles in the GT500 are really good because the missing stick is going to remove the flexibility of having two options for how to change gears.

Ford is assuming most Mustang owners prefer working a knob.
What their assuming and have found that it is true that the rotary shifter is a none issue whit 99% of people buying cars.

So, I have an Edge ST with rotary and middle sport button. Is it the same as GT500 will have?
