Has anyone tested whether the doors will unlock from the outside while you are in the car with the fob? Maybe with the engine running and/or while in gear? It sounds weird bu my 2013 Taurus would do that on occasion. I call it "carjack mode".
No it will not, the car knows when the fob is inside the car.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but be warned as in the UK and i'm sure US people will watch where you park your car and wait for you to get out and lock the car as you walk away without checking the handle, they use a signal jammer which blocks the locking of the car as you press the lock button on your fob they then quickly jump in hit the start button and you've lost the car.
I've tried to start the car while the key was in my hand that was reaching for the open door and it said there was no key and would not start, so I find it hard to believe that the start button would work when I've walked far enough away from the car for someone to run up to it and jump in.

Why use the fob to lock doors?Leave it in your pocket where it belongs and just touch the top of the door handle and it locks everything.
