Just ordered a flowmaster 40 and 44 and will be placing as a mid pipe resonator with my Stype catback for my 2020 Bullitt.
Will try the 40 and then the 44 and see how it sounds on the Bullitt

I think he had better clamp them, they will be swapped out in a few months ...

Good idea to clamp and maybe weld when testing is complete.

Yeh gonna do just that.
Ordered some 2.5 to 2.25 adapters one end and 2.5 to 3 the other end. I’ll clamp it all just in case ( probably ) I won’t like it

The other good news is that thanks to old Trumpy boy and his new tariffs the Spanish second hand mustang market has gone up. Not that I’ll ever sell my Bullitt.

Received the Flowmaster dual in/out today. Went for the original 40 series with two chambers. Dropping it off tomorrow to the exhaust shop so they can weld me adapters on both ends. Need 2.5” to 2.25” for the headers end and 2.5” to 3” for the muffler end. ( I have a Borla catback which is why it’s 3” ).

should be ready and installed on Friday so I’ll send some sound clips.
expecting it to be quieter but no so much as I don’t think the 2 chamber flowmaster will reduce the sound so much only tune it so to speak.

I tried the Borla resonator a while back on my Stype and it was wayyyy too quiet. Something to consider if you’re thinking about a Borla touring exhaust.

Man, I think you’re gonna be in for a real treat with that 40 series! First thing that comes to mind for me is a top fuel funny car throttle whack. You won’t know what you like until you try it though.

Plan A didn’t work guys.
The 40 series is too long and wide and hits the handbrake mechanism also the inlets were too wide for the headers and fabricating adapters made it too long.

so plan B Super 10 series which fits nice and snug to the headers, then H pipe followed by the Stype catback

Hi All
I have now attached a Flowmaster súper 10 mid mounted to my Stype catback and it sounds amazing guys.

I’ll upload some video soon.
But it has given my Bullitt that old school chambered bass tone and the volume is spot on in loudness.

don’t know why flowmaster get so much hate this thing is amazing and it’s cheap.
Some drone but it’s that nice drone that lets you know you in a mustang.

I also gained a lot of low end torque over the h pipe I had installed before.
