floor jack height?

Anybody have any issues getting a low profile jack in place without driving up on wood etc?

Looking to buy a new low profile jack but want to make sure I get one with enough clearance:

I have the thicker Steeda rails that have less clearance than anything else under the car, and I am running 30 series tires. Anything less than 4 inches will clear.

2 ton H.F low pro aluminum jack clears my steeda rails no prob
