I know the fuel requirements or recommended but does anyone know if any of the engines are flex fuel especially since we have these ethanol mixtures with a possibility of going to 15%?

I'm sure the engine and fuel components themselves can handle almost pure ethanol, but since I've seen no mention of FlexFuel for this vehicle in any way, I doubt they have an ethanol sensor, ECU tune, or injector flow rates capable of running corn juice.

So the short answer is no. But I'm sure the aftermarket will have a solution.

I wouldn't be running e85 for sure... more concerned of what they want to do with fuel... if that was the case... there are going to be alot of cars needing some mods... Hopefully not any time soon! The fuel pump in my Audi died shortly after the ethanol switch in 2006

While at the dealership getting warranty repairs done, I was pleasantly surprised to see a new '16 F150 with a 5.0 that had a Flex Fuel badge on the tailgate.

They do not have the ability to run flex fuel from the factory. It is not activated in the factory tune. There is no need for an ethanol sensor. When flex fuel is activated by a aftermarket tune, the computer uses fuel trims from the wide bands to compute the ethanol content. If you are mostly stock, the injectors stock seem to be enough. However, LU47s are cheap insurance and set you up for when you have more mods.
