They were not really "getting on it", plus that came off a camera phone that is only so-so on capturing the sound.
The GT's werent getting it on either but you could hear their exhaust very easily.

Wow...unless your video lost sound, the EB had no note what so ever pulling out there...barely a whimper.

Agreed. I was actually wondering if this would be the case. But then again, how could it stand up to the V8 from an engine sound perspective. Never had a chance

Correct, the first two sounded good even on my crappy tablet, the last one sounded like an electric car.

What's up with the LE & the vert's LEDs? they appear to be flashing. is it just the frame rate on the video?

It will be interesting to hear the EcoBoost at full song in stock form. The sound is a big part of the experience for me. On my stock 2010 GT, I had also thought the sound was a bit quiet, which is why I got aftermarket mufflers.

With the changes to the exhaust (resonator in the system), it could very well be that there is new dynamic to consider now.

Also, what I noticed also on my 2010 GT is that after several thousand miles it was "seasoned" and become louder.

The LE I rode in had a very throaty exhaust & sounded great in the cabin & outside...So, I also believe it to be stock as far as sound goes-->
Were the windows up or down (you might have posted that in your thread)? What did you think about the tone? Thanks for your insights!

Yes, it's the camera's limitation. No flickering in person :) There are many other videos posted where you can see a similar effect.

It hurts my brain to think that someone is eventually going to put an aftermarket diarrhea sounding exhaust on the 4 banger.

Agreed, On Both Counts. People do a lot of things to Their Cars that I Personally Can't Stand. I'm sure someone will put 24's on it and Donk it out, others will Cover it with Peel and Stick JC Whitney Chrome, and others will add all sorts of Fake Scoops, Louvers, and Body Kits. I personally Do Not Like Any of those things, and wouldn't dream of doing them to My Car, but that's Their Perogative.

Just as with the Focus and even Fiesta, I am sure someone will make a nice exhaust system for the Eco-Boost. I am sure Ford Racing will have a nice system in their parts bin.

do you know if that was the stock GT exhaust? it didn't sound TOO quiet.
As far as I know, yes, it was stock.

Windows were Up & Down.
In the Up portion of ride, the exhaust note was pleasing (to short to properly evaluate) in the Down position you knew you were in a Muscle car (Like when a Harley goes down the street you know what it is) the Tone at Idle is sweet music, but I want the Live Concert Sound...I'll be changing the mufflers at the very least, to get a tone I love (Did it to my 12 Boss)
