I guess your idea of better handling differs from mine. In a numbers game, the Mustang surely wins. But to me, handling is feel. It is so much easier to put the FRS where I want it. It is way more predictable and has infinitely better steering feel. Did you ever see the Top Gear video of Jeremy Clarkson drifting a GT86 while reading a book?So wrong…. Stock to stock the performance package version mustangs handle better. Maybe not as fun as the 86 handling, but definitely faster and more Gs.
I did drive the FRS back to back with a GTPP, which is the car I am buying this spring. My first impressions review is here: http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10476
