Congrats! I got mine in June. It was between that and a viper actually! Is that a 96 GTS?
Yes, 96 with 16,xxx miles on it. Haven't driven it since buying the 350R....need to get it out of the garage, it's an experience to drive.

Decided I'd look at a Magnetic R at a local dealer in 2018. First real up close look at a 350/R. Sat in it. Fired it up and I knew my HC A8 was gone. The HC was just too big and boring and I wanted back into a 3rd pedal. The pure visceral sound and feel was calling to my soul. Woulda bought it that day if the dealer wasn't so greedy but $30k ADM... Paid off to wait it out for a couple months. There are times when I feel like making the move to a GT500 but I think giving up my R would sting to much. It's not the fastest car I've had but it sure is the most enjoyable to drive. I would miss it.
Yes I've definitely driven much faster cars, but have not enjoyed them as much as these GT350's. They are very unique.

I read and watched videos ever since it was released in 15/16. Thought to myself, "I probably wont be able to afford it new but maybe used one day". Well, come late 2017 I was divorced and actually made out on the deal with our house sale and "POOF" September of 2018, I was the proud owner of a 17 AG 350 which I found in Wisconsin with on 3300 miles. The prior owner bought it brand new in late 16 and drove it for a short while and upgraded to the 18R in late 17. I will never sell it. I love driving it and always smile. I owned a 2004 MACh1 prior that I spent some serious money on etc but the Gt350 is a different animal and it never gets old.

In Dec 14' I ordered a 15' GT/PP spoiler delete with recaro's, I only added a Corsa extreme cat back and was very happy with the 6 speed and the gearing, When the advertising with pics and sound for the GT350 came out later in the year...I thought wow...what a sports car. I didn't actually see one in person until the spring of 16'. It took me 3 more years before I traded up.

2016, the year I bought my first Mustang. A GT350 roared past me on the interstate doing what must have been about 150mph. I'd never heard such a loud and violent sound come from a car before. I only got a glimpse of it before it was gone. A month later I was in a new GT.

I was on the Coevette Forum (I had an 05 C6) when someone posted the Car and Driver article that picked the GT350 over the Vette in a comparison test. Guys went bonkers there. I waited until 2017 and prices came down. I only saw one on the road in all that time. I have never regretted the purchase.

Bought one sight unseen 5 years later.
Bought one sight unseen in 2015.

First time seeing and hearing it was at delivery on December 10, 2015.

In Dec. 2014 I ordered a Triple Yellow, GT Premium, with the 50th anniversary package.
It took awhile to get to me as the seatbelt-hold delayed delivery until Mar. 2015.
On 31 March it arrived at Sarasota Ford.
This automatic, 3.55 geared, 435HP, S550 was perfect, What could be better.
That's when I started hearing about this new GT350.

Here's the first video I saw:

What !, Ford Performance Team took this newly designed S550 and went through every aspect of it and made all these improvements ???

Here's the video that sold me:

My new GT Premium was still in showroom condition, and only had 1250 miles on it.
I had to have the new GT350. I wanted a Shadow Black without stripes. There was only 1 showing in Florida, and it was en-route. I traded my beloved GT premium on the day(Dec 31, 2015) the SB GT350 arrived at Mullinax Ford, in Apopka, FL. It was only a 3 hour drive.

-By the way- I figured I was going to loose 7,000 on the deal.
Looking Back, as I stated in another post, " It was one of the best decisions I have made !"

Wow great color! I'm not far from Sacramento. I'm in the Antioch/Brentwood area. Meet up for a drive sometime. Also, I am doing some HPDE at Thunderhill soon as well!
