Hey guys,

To start, let me start my first post by saying thank you. I have been cruising this forum for a while now with no username and the information has been invaluable.

With this being said, I am completely sold on a GT350 and wanted to get some feedback from the community. Bye bye M3, here we come mustang!! :headbang:

I am about to pull the trigger on a shadow black / ebony, electronics package standard 2017 GT350 but am concerned if I should be holding out for the 'potential' 2018 facelift. Don't want to start a debate whether the GT350 will continue to be in production with the GT500 on the horizon, etc etc... Just looking for some car enthusiast advice whether now is the time to buy, or painfully wait another couple months for the potential facelift version of the 2018 GT350.

Been doing my research on this forum and on google, haven't come up with much..

Let the dialog begin!!!! Pumped to join this community! Thanks guys

Jake

I don't think there will be a 2018 GT350. Govern yourself accordingly.

Edited to add: I see you are from Newport Beach, I was just there yesterday on a 17 hour KSNA layover.

All the best man. I'd get the '17

If there is an 2018 it looks as if the 10 speed auto, "might" be an option. I say that only as wild ass conjecture which has been suggested as a possibility by others. I don't know if that's an attractive proposition for you. If it is, it might be worth a gamble. That said the 2017 seems to be well sorted out. Make yourself happy.

Look at it this way- Is there something wrong with the looks of the 17 making you hold out for an 18? I think the GT350 already looks badass and wouldn't change much about it, if anything, especially its "face" lol.

I'd do it...not guaranteed there will be an '18 and if there is, it may have no updates at all. If there are updates it could get less attractive.

If you have the means and wherewithal to wait, I'd say wait. There will still be plenty of 17s out there that you'd be able to get at a more attractive price than now. And hey, if there is something more appealing about the 18s, then no harm no foul, get it. I was thinking about doing the same thing when I finally got mine about three weeks ago. If my Audi wasn't starting to throw more and more codes, I would have waited. That being said, I am really happy to be enjoying it now!

I agree, just got back to the OC after two nights laying over in KFLL.

Well, if there is an '18MY GT350, it should be shown at Detroit with the rest of the range......so you will (hopefully) only have to wait until 9th January to find out for sure :)

If you want a GT350, buy a 17. No one is sure if the GT350 will even be around for 2018.
