So what is the first modification you do or will do on your (next) Mustang.
For me it is a short shifter, can't stand the factory ones. Had my SN95 for 1 week before it got a Pro50 Tower of Power.

Lights, if they botch it and put in halogens.

20" wheels.... altho I have to see how it looks on the smaller body.

I'm thinking from everything we're seeing and reading I probably wouldn't lower suspension which would've been one of the first I would do on the S197

Exhaust. Put Pypes violators on the 08 and sounds nasty over stock. Stock is like screaming into a pillow.

19" wheels are the max for me, just make sure they are 10" wide. That's what lacking in the current one.

Yea agree, the shifter is probably the best bang for your buck mod that can make a big difference. I hope they change up the factory ones for 2015.

Longtubes. The current gen sounds good with exhaust but once the stock headers come off it really opens it up.

I think I agree with this.

Plus I tend to be really cautious with upgrades. I like to get well reviewed and known good upgrades and that is going to take some time to sort out.

I can say though that exhaust will be on the list. Long tubes almost without a doubt. I have them on my 95 and it's such a great upgrade.

A supercharger will be a mod down the road a little bit after a solid break in of the engine. Once you've had boost... it's addicting! This car is going to cost me so much money...

I don't even have the car yet, but I already bought Roush axle back exhaust, shorty antenna, MMR tail light trim. Roush chin spoiler and side splitters and Roush hood struts.

You read my mind. It'll be a Mustang, so make it sound the way a Mustang should!!!

You realize nobody knows what the car looks like. Much less after market parts being manufactured for it. None of that stuff is going to fit.
