I have nano-coating as well, I'm just buying full set of shampoo, glove, towel, liquid detailer and wheel brush so I can do everything by myself.

It was a loooong trip home, as just about all German highways we wanted to take ended up being closed for repairs and the Ford Sync sat-nav seems all but useless in these situations. (no, I did not fancy another forest adventure) I think it took us almost 6 hours to get back. We did have some short brakes and a fuel stop, but still .. way too long for a trip that was only supposed to take just over 4 hours.

That said, I had an awesome time. It was great meeting all of you wonderful people! It's really awesome driving trough the mountains in a long line of s550's, tribar taillights in front of you, angry headlights in all your mirrors. I think we all were grinning all the way, I certainly was.

Fog, rain, the sat-nav sending us off-roading in the forest were all well worth it! Hope to see you all again next year.

PPS: I'll be dropping my car as-is at the detailer tomorrow

Guess you also took the A60? I also had to do a detour which took about 40 minutes, before getting back on the A60. There was a sign, showing to follow the U13 for the detour. I arrived at home at 6 o'clock.

Yeah, we thought we were following the detour, but somehow we got sidetracked and decided to head for Aachen instead, that was not such a good idea it seems.

Ow well, we did get plenty of scenic route

haha yea! the people were definitively amazed... the craziest was in Trier where we shot the last pictures.. there were a lot of ppl visiting the monuments... but yesterday they just wanted to take pics of the cars lol

Yeah My girlfriend was still pissed at me for hauling ass the whole way to the meeting, made me promise to go 130kph all the way home. When you drove by she just looked at me and said "Don't even think about it!":lol:

Once I dropped her off at the airport I had the chance to play around with an Audi S5 on my way home. Mustang FTW! After I let him catch back up he gave me the thumbs up and the blinker good bye, so he was a good sport about it!

I'll post the dashcam vid tonight!
