Switzerland ... hmm, that's over an over 7 hours drive just to get to Basel. (which is probably the closest town from our neck of the woods.)

Ow, and another thing to remember, next year we may need to pay for a pass to drive on the Autobahn as foreigners. :frusty:
Edit: I am not sure if those plans are on hold at the moment due to legal battles with Brussels ... (last thing I heard it would be in effect at 1st of jan 2016)
You already have to pay in countries like Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Moldova, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Switzerland as foreigners. Don't see why at least their cars shouldn't have to pay in Germany.

If we can agree to Frankfurt as the location for next year, I will volunteer to organize everything.

Frankfurt is just under 5 hours, so that should be doable for me.

If we want to include people from further away, we'd have to make the meet program somewhat longer, get at least a full day to get there and get back. The program would then at least look something like this:
day 1: everyone makes their way to the place, we have dinner/drinks together,
day 2: activities (touring/lunch/dinner etc),
day 3: breakfast and everyone says their goodbyes heads off.

Be aware the speed limits in Switz.. They are extremely insane.
I told already all the guys how it is here... :p

no chance if you go 15km more than the limit... ahaha

I cannot talk much about the distance for the next meeting since I'm very good positioned... lol xD
but Frankfurt sounds not bad.. :)

Making one central meeting for all europeans would be too much drive for most of us - I'm in central Italy and I need 4 hours drive only to be in Milan - maybe Switrzerland could be doable but our southern europe friends (spain and greece) will have to drive for many many hours! And we can't still get people from Norway\Sweden.
Europe is really big - probably three meetings could get people's attention (north, central and south europe) because not all can do a 10 hour drive :D

Well done on the meet guys, looks like a great time was had with a pile of Mustangs

I'm looking to do the Mille Miglia route next autumn so a meet with some northern and Southern Europeans would be on the cards for me. I'm just back from Bologna, fantastic city.

As I live in the frozen wasteland of Scotland, I'll be ferrying it from Newcastle to Holland, then go through Germany and Austria on the way down to Bologna. I've got some friends in that region and one or two in Milan.

I've done a few big euro tours in the past and the worst bit has always been the drive down to the south of England for the ports, worse still on the way back!!

So watch out for a Scottish Ruby Red, tearing up the Tarmac next autumn :)

I'll start a poll so everybody can vote...have to figure out how this works.
My feeling is we should keep one near or in lux and one in southern france..
CH don't look ok speedwise. Keeping it at 120 with a mustang is really really challenging...
