Finally Ordered

I was a little pissed bc I actually ordered last week. When I went into the dealer today I asked why my numbers were not working. It looks like they actually didnt complete it and had to re-do it today even though its the same order number I had before just I got the real dealer code today.

Could you tell me where you got your order number from there? I forwarded that image to my dealer, who responded back with the following:

LOL that's just something that the dealership gave him to appease him. It's nothing official from Ford. There are no vin#'s, no order#'s, etc...it's pretty much of no use.

For whatever reason, my dealer hasn't provided me with my order#. Keeps saying that nothing is going on with the car due to QC hold's and they have no news for me.

Either you're talking to the wrong person at the dealership (salesperson instead of inventory manager) or your dealership just sucks. The order # and dealership number are used to track the order on COTUS, so yeah, it's kind of important.

I would tell them: "Hey, I don't want to be bugging you guys repeatedly about updates for my car. If you can give me the order number and your dealership number, I can track it myself and leave you guys alone until it's delivered."

Ironically, that was the email I sent this morning. I finally got them to agree to email the VOC this coming monday.

Congrats. I'm sure yours will go through on Thursday while the poor May and June retail order guys will be left out in the cold again. (At least I hope not. Keeps fingers crossed.)
