That's not an easy question to answer. My dealer ordered two cars to my specs, one an inventory and one a retail. I have been begging for the DORA for my retail order but after two weeks they are telling me that the system has not responded as accepting the order??? But the inventory one they advised that it is in the system and they have a build date of 8/10. I have been dealing with Deysha from Ford Service and she said that she can see my retail order in the system but has not advised on a build date. I can't see in COTUS yet. How did you get a DORA so fast. My dealer indicated that the inventory orders are filled before the retail orders but the buying basics part of this forum indicates that the retail orders are filled before the inventory so it leaves me wondering if my retail order is going to be built earlier than 8/10. I'm fine with 8/10 since it is the second week of the 16' production but I will never be able to track in COTUS the inventory one which is part of the fun.
I had a DORA two days after the order went in (6/3). The dealer tells you 8/10 but Deysha can't confirm? I'm a bit skeptical of dealer-provided info as far as orders go...

I am pro fast and light. Can't wait to be driving my magnetic one on September. The color choice has been the hardest choice. Will Love the saddle interior

They have to fill the dealer lots first, so at the beginning of a model year run, yes this is true. I was told by Ford CSR, they do that for a short time. Any other time of year, retail orders get priority.

It's almost as cool as guard
Guard IS cool. Anyone seriously debating color must see it in person to judge. I really considered it but DIB won out, especially with the wifey.

yeah i really like guard, but I'm so in love with DIB. I had a sonic blue mustang for 9 years and I received so many compliments on it. I think if I were to get a mustang, I'd really want DIB, but maybe if I got a killer deal on magnetic, I'd go for it.

Sonic blue new edge crew check in.

I loved that car but for some reason I didn't like blue on the 2015's nearly as much. Plus just always wanted a black car, only had a beater black s10.
