So 2/10ths can be roughly accounted for from the weight reduction?

Good pass... Hope mine gets there some day.

All the little tricks make for the difference. In comparable DA same mods but first version of the tune without the seats removed I was running 11.5-11.6 with a lot less mph.

-31 lbs back seats

-50lbs passenger seat

- 13.5 lbs etx18 battery( always on the car)

-5 oem tire inflator (never on the car)

-3.4lbs engine cover (never on the car)

-4.6 lbs trunk cover lid

+7.5 lbs laptop, laptop spare battery plus other stuff

+- = 100 lbs removed from the car

Strip tire Dragpack add some more reduction in weight.

I weight 250 lbs my friends with other Mustang 150-175lbs lol

Could let my 160 lbs friend drive and let the 100 lbs in the car. Will probably instead leave the 100lbs out and let my friend drive it maybe for a hero run. Not sure never let anybody other than me drive my car especially on the track but my other car are/we're all manual and I was ripping the gear powershifting!

Would like to ran as is with me driving just adding my drop spring 10.6'-10'.7's 130+ mph running full timing on 94 pump gas in mineshaft air if traction is good!

I was afraid to lost mph on my 2018 A10 compare to my 2015 M6 with the same mods. I was so wrong!!!! This car is a beast even with pistons slap Lol.

130 traps N/A would be bad ass.

Yes, I am very impressed with how these cars pull with the A10. Just got my revisions done from Lund and it is a different animal from what my 15 GT M6 was with the same mods.

There is a big difference in what you can get out of these cars when you are tuning them yourself Vs using a tuner... you can take risks and try things a tuner just won't do for you.

Not only that but you aren’t trying to cram everything in all at once and can take your time with it. For example when I got to VCT I only made one change a day, and I would just do a pull on my way to work to test. Took about a week and a half but really didn’t inconvience my schedule.

No offense, but VCT tuning is not something you should spread over a week. More importantly, it should be done on a dyno to bracket the cams to determine what cam position at specific rpm breakpoints. I've done it with the virtual dyno before, but it took roughly 6 hours. I dropped it down to about 3-4 hours on the dyno.

All my tunings are done on the road/track when possible same thing for my motorcycle however that exclude VCT tuning that is exclusively done on my friend Mustang dyno. I personnaly don't even loose my time without a dyno. Then they are tested on the track!!
With timing event/compression highest maf reading doesn't always = best hp/tq/ 1/4 mile e.t.

No offense taken, I learned a lot from you and others before on tuning methodology.

I haven’t been using VD for this. I was using engine brake torque and a math for Horsepower. The temps and DA have been really stable back home at the time of morning I was doing this. Between that and using the same stretch of road each time lended itself to pretty good results. This also allowed me to look the power figures on the same field as all the relevant data in the logs to bracket the cams. By opening multiple Scanner windows, I can compare different logs to check for improvement at each breakpoint.

No argument here at all that a dyno would be better, but there are very few dynos nearby and even fewer with competent operators. Plus I just haven’t had time to take it in and get it done.

Could I have done this in a couple hours? Absolutely, but again my schedule personally has been too busy to spend a lot of time on it during the day. That’s why I made the comment about not necessarily being rushed by tuning it yourself.
