Any idea how many 2020 GT500s will be made at the end of the production run this year?

Does anyone think they will get to 5000?

Naive question, if they don’t produce 5000, does that make the 2020 more desirable?

Thanks for your input.

The only reason a 2020 GT500 will be more desirable is because it was produced before the trash so called Mustang Mach E was made.

Just think.....people confusing a 2021 Mach 1 and Mach E

I am 99.9% sure Ford will not make 5000 GT500s for the 2020 model year.

You know Keller, I've tried to stop using terms like "never" because it often bites me in the butt. :-) That said, if I were laying odds on this one, I'd agree with you but I think I'd only go as high as...ummm...9/10. <smile> That 9.9 makes it a bit riskier bet.:-)

Not that any of it matters but it's fun to guess. I expect the best bookies would try to imagine what good ol' FOMOCO will do.

Not going to say who....and I hate doing that because it somewhat discredits the information but I was told that all allocations that were promised will be built as MY2020 with a shorter production run for MY2021.

We all know that we dislike the ADMs and general lack of information about allocations and build orders....but stay positive. Ford knows they can build X number of cars in a certain time (my20 and 21) - why would they cut off promised orders so that they can have a full production run for MY2021 cars? It just doesn't make any sense.

It’s my understanding that Ford is currently building about 60 (350, 500, & heritage combined) cars per day.

I agree about the word never. Never say never.
Don’t promise to do something and then not do it.
A mans word should be almost as reliable as the Bible.
However today, most men aren’t real men.
