I’m looking to do a true stagger set
19x9.5 and 20x11.5. They do both on a 5x114. Tire would be a 285/35 upfront and a 325/30/20 in the back. Does anyone have any experience with these wheels and with this type of stagger. This is the wheel I’m looking to replace the ones I have now.
TIA

Thats a lot of stagger. Car will understeer pretty bad. All show and no go is what those wheel sizes tell me if I saw them at a car show.

if you wanted a 285 front tire would be a better fit on a 10” wheel, you’re not getting your full money’s worth out of that tire if its pinched on a small wheel. The pinch isn’t terribly extreme in this case but all things being equal, you’d want wheels slightly too wide to stretch the the tire a little and not vice versa.

i have to ask why spend that much money and go with a “just” a 9.5” front wheel? Our cars are front heavy and need a lot of front tire. We don’t have the weight distribution of a corvette or porshe which need that kind of stagger.

You can run that kind of combo, although you will have poke in the rear, depending on how much of an offset the company is willing to cut.

11" will be something around +50 going to a 11.5" you will probably need something like a +60-63 range. I would run a smaller 315 or move back to the tried and true 11" which still pokes on most setups.

You can run a 285 up front, but as the previous guy stated you would likely need a 10" wheel to ensure you're not damaging the tire with that aspect ratio. I run a 285/35/20.

I really like the old school raked look. I also like the old school big rear tire and the front smaller tire. I was thinking of tracking the car but honestly the most I will do is do some corner carving at some good roads we have here. But they are public roads so I won’t be taking turns at speed just some spirited driving.

I can go with a 10” in front and go with a 285 that’s not a problem. Why I posed the question to get some advice and directed in the right way. I’m not a fan of a square look another reason I won’t track the car because it won’t be good running a stagger like I am. Right now I’m running a 275/315 stagger but I’m not doing anything but going in a straight line. The 315 has a 40 aspect ratio and while it’s good for very little to no spin off the line I want to change things up. I’m going to contact Ferrada on Monday and see what offsets they offer for each size wheel. If I do run a 20x11 or even 12 I can leave the back stock height and not have an issue because I don’t have an issue with rubbing right now.

Thanks for the good info on your post.

I'm assuming you mean my post...
I run a square setup and it's super low but I am going to get spacers and raise the rear and raise the front as well so I can run a different wheel for track duties.

if you're dragging like you say it doesn't matter that much. I thought most custom wheels have an offset range that they would cut. I run savini, and they will cut a range of offsets.

I just posted this on a different thread. I’m not the same wheels as you’re asking about but I also like the old-school look and I’m not looking to go to the track or anything like that so mine was all for show as well. This is what I am. 275/40/19 19x9.5, 305/30/20 20x11 in back. As mentioned above not ideal for track but the set up is doing me just fine. I get hard on this car and steering has not been a problem. Of course I’m not on the track though.

That set up looks really good. That’s more or less what I’m looking for. Thanks for the pic. It just makes the decision a lot easier. Are you on stock suspension also?
