My first car in high school. A 1963 Impala convertible. Burgundy with a black top. 283 hooked to a Powerglide. Manual brakes and steering. An 8-track player in the glove box. It was a lot of fun.

...my favorite of all was my '1983 Toyota 4x4 Truck.
I had one '82 and two '83.

The favorite of the three was my Black '83.

This pic of my Orange color one is just like my Black one.
I sold it to my SIL and he turned around and sold it..................:curse::angry:

My 1995 E36 M3; Cosmos Black w/Dove Vader interior…. It was an extremely fun car.

I’m starting to look at them again…
Thanks for adding the year. So many people here list their BMW by the generation number that I never know which one they are talking about. It's like if I went onto a BMW forum and said "The S197 Mustang was really cool". Same thing with 911s.

It says it all. What is your favorite car you've owned in your lifetime besides any Mustangs.

I have owned a lot of cars from Challengers and Camaros and even a Lexus in the mix but....

The car that was the most fun to drive for me was my '05 Orange Blast SRT4 with Stage 3. So much fun off the line.

Probably my unexpected favorite was my 1985 RX-7. My uncle grew tired of it and was either going to give it to the RX7/rotary shop he had it worked on at or give it to me. I decided to take it, trailered it home with my dad. It did have a salvage title - it was a GS or GSL and fixed up to a GSL-SE (essentially carb 12A to fuel-injected 13B plus all the other GSL-SE stuff). It was quite a hoot to drive, revs for days lol. Small and shortish wheelbase with an LSD that I'm not sure was still working, really fun to drive on any road - I wish I could keep up with the cost to make it proper which is why I ended up selling it. Between a project '66 Stang that has some sentimental value and that...something had to go. :(

Someday I wouldn't mind owning a proper 1st gen RX7 again. I love the looks and it's right up my ally of handling>horsepower. I would also love to try an FC or FD, but that's some serious $$$ territory.

My 1970 Mercury Cyclone GT and Spoiler. My 351C 4V was a lot of fun until I totaled it! My GT is a 429, 4 speed car. N case, trac-loc and 31 spline axles and staggered shocks.

Just ask if it's a Gallo 12 or Gallo 24 motor going in that Skyline.
That was one of my favorite lines from the entire series.

Learned to drive a stick on a 1982 RX-7 GS. Not my favorite car, but I did really enjoy it and Mazda makes a good vehicle.

Had loads I have loved but two cars that stand out equally were childhood dreams realised, wish I could have kept them both. The Messerschmitt was a complete joy and so much fun, with a a whole 10 thundering Hp on call. The lotus 51 was sublime whether driving it or just sitting in t(e garage admiring it.
