2019 STi. For a newer vehicle, it had that old school, big turbo feel. Wasn't always the fastest around (except off the line), but it was predictable and inspired confidence while pushing it.

This just reminded me of a story with my 1996 Trans Am. I had a tune up done on it and the car was running like shit. I brought it to the dealer who did it and every tech who looked at it and scanned it couldn't figure out what was wrong. The head guy there told me to bring it back at midnight so his 18 year old prodigy mechanic could look at it. The kid pops the hood and immediatly saw that two of the spark plug wires were crossed. The firing order for a Chevy 350 has never changed and all these mechanics didn't even see it. But the 18 year old did.

I can’t remember which thread it was in but I do recall somebody saying that they had boxes of slides somewhere so you’re good to go. Negatives or slides.

Now after owning 27 mustangs, my favorite first new car was a 1969 Datsun 2000 roadster. Met Peter Brock for help preparing it. Ended up winning the Golden State Gran Prix in mid California against the north’s fastest Porche 911. Fantastic car and memories.

Always liked the 2000. Got to drive one once. Unfortunately my wife, who was pregnant with our first-born at the time, wasn't so impressed.
