Is there any interest in discussing the relative merits of a strut vs. control arm mount for the front bar?

Always a good topic for discussion. I see a challenge in a ARB mount on the front of this simply due to the construction of the links and not having true “control arms”.

But, the idea has lots of merit considering you want the ARB to work in parallel to the motion of the front arms. I’ve never seen a video of the total motion of the front suspension but now I’m curious. I’ll have to look it up YouTube.

You will lose some motion ratio going to the control arm, meaning you'll need more front bar stiffness to maintain the same amount of front sta-bar effect.

Strut motion ratios are in the 0.95-ish range, but I think you'd be doing very well to get very far into the 0.8 range from the control arm.

Don't forget that stiffness at the wheels involves motion ratio squared . . .
