Confirmed. Only on 400A/4001A GTs. That being said, is there a hack or aftermarket install that would give you a "shift light" either in the factory gauge or an added light available for the 300A Mustang???

well if all the wiring harnesses are the same and so is the cluster then it might be a simple enable color change and tach light

I always thought about this when I had my 14 but on those the clusters seemed to be different. If I had to guess the 15+ will be the same way, even swapping out clusters may not be enough though depending on how everything is wired. I don't think it can be done but I would love to be wrong.

i have my cluster set to red. i haven't hit the red line yet but I've been getting pretty close(still in breaking in period). will it turn another color when i hit red line or do i need to change the color so it will turn to red when I hit the limiter?

It looks like you need to have the lights turned on before you see it. I tried it during the day and saw nothing, then later with the lights on. It appeared.

I was literally just about to post asking about this. I've taken her to the redline several times during the day, but never got the shift light. I suspected the lights needed to be on, but hadn't tried it yet. Thanks for confirming!

Does anyone know if it is possible the change the rpm when the color change kicks in? Not the actually rev limit or fuel cutoff, but just the red color.

the light will just be more intense. I have mine set to red too and when I hit it it just gets brighter so you can still tell.

So that's it! I also was wondering if there was some sort of logic to it, like track mode or something. Because I've gone to redline quite a bit, but I've only seen the gauge change color a handful of times. Going to have to test this on the way home today.
