Factory paperwork in glove box - "potato chip"

When I bought my Mustang GT this year there was some paperwork from the factory in the glove box. One page looked like a check list of items installed/checked for functionality. Another paper said "Part shortage LH inner door bezel", that part was actually missing I noticed several days later and the dealer ordered it. Lastly, a page said "potato chip." what in the world does that mean? :shrug: Anyone have any idea?

Does the base GT come equipped with a potato chip as stock equipment ?

They put a tracking chip in your car. Its running the latest operating system which is 'Potato v2.0.' So if I was you, I'd call the dealership up tomorrow and have them remove the potato tracking chip.

The day I got my car my wife found an earring in the passenger floorboard. A pos cheap earring. My car was ordered and I was there when it was delivered. Only one person drove it before I got it, a male who does not wear earrings! Someone at flat rock dropped it in the car.

Ha! Mysteries like this are just too cool.
I'd love to know what "potato chip" was referring to. Are there any factory insiders on this forum? Save all of that paperwork...so neat to have these records of your car's birth.

A friend of mine has a 100% stock 1979 Vette...yeah, it's slow but it's a nicely optioned L-82 car and a pretty nice cruiser... in any case, he found come odd artifacts from the sloppy assembly line including some extra rivets that were evidently rattling around the floor pan when it was painted over. They're fossilized in place!

My '73 Dart had the "DODGE" logo on the tail panel tilted about 15* (probably built on a Friday afternoon). I fixed it but kind of regretting that.
