Factory NAV time estimates

I'm sure I can't be the only one but does anyone else have an issue with the factory nave being waaay off in the time estimates? Google maps will tell me 20 minutes while the factory nav over 30.
I actually like the factory nav but I have issues trusting it to get me to places on time so I'm always grabbing my phone as backup.
Wonder if there's some setting to fix this? The "I'm a speeder" setting lol

My HU and Google maps are usually close. I was even pleased by the dynamic routing the sync 3 provided with the Sirius traffic link data. It has already rerouted me through issues.

Do you have Sirius traffic link?

I should have travel link for the first five years. But it’s way off even if there’s no traffic on the route.
So others people’s nav isn’t as off as mine?? Maybe somethings miscalibrated, maybe I’ll call the dealer..

There is a setting for “Eco penalty” that adds a few extra minutes to the estimated travel time, I assume from how Ford describes it that they wanted to make people not speed as much to save fuel...

main reason for that is google maps calculates based on traffic, nav maps dont get traffic unless sirius travel link is purchased

How do I see if travel link is functioning? Should be.
I feel like even if I drive speed limit the estimates are off. Although if anyone drove the speed limit is my area of ct on the highway (55) they’d probably be pushed off the road lol even by little old ladies.

Low is unfortunately the best setting we can choose, since there is no off.

One way is to "ask" they system for "traffic" when you have navigation running. If you have travel link it will tell you if there is anything happening on the route. You won't get the information unless you have travel link. Or ask for gas prices, same thing.

Today I was trying to find an address about a mile away on normal suburban streets. The ETA it gave me was nine minutes, how would it possibly think it takes nine minutes to travel a mile!? LOL
