I may look into this down the road. When the cars first came out someone quoted me over $1000 for the APIM reprogramming. I figured it would come down in price with time.

Plus WAZE has a lot of social reporting and instant rerouting which is damn good. Get me a mirroring application for my iPhone and I will buy it...I have had factory nav and never thought on any of my cars it was anywhere near google maps or wazeIt's cool you can do this.
Personally, Id be more interesting in something like Lockpick for cheaper allowing a smartphone to display on the MFT and use Google Maps which is always up to date.
Nice! Any pics of the nav screen map in use? I've never seen what Ford's setup looks like, just my wife's Kia Sorento.![]()
Attached is the after with "navigation" replacing "information"
Taking the apart the dash and yanking the module doesn't take that long...maybe 20 minutes. Maybe removing a dozen or so screws and pulling out a bunch of clips. Reinstalling 911 couldn't be easier, basically does it by itself. The whole process is very simple.
