Factory Alarm question

I have noticed why driving that the red lights on my doors stay illuminated, is this normal. I recall aftermarket alarms that when its sold that means it is in valet mode, but what about factory?

That's just there to tell you your door is locked. Doors lock automatically at 12 mph I think it is and those little lights are the tattle tale.

They are on mine.

Mine are on any time the door is locked, moving or not. I think since they don't have post the lights are just a visual to give you a warm fuzzy that they are locked.
