Hi, ive had some break ins around my area and was wanting to throw a gps tracker in the car but also have it call or sms me if the factory alarm gets activated.
Is there anyway to get a signal or output from the factory alarm when its active? Ive tried hunting around but can't find any info. Most alarms have some sort of auxiliary output. Trying to look for a pinout diagram for the anti theft module/PATS but no having much luck.
Anyone got any ideas? could I build a relay of something like the siren?
Alternative is to use some of the canbus GPS/GSM modules out there but will require some serious decoding which I want to avoid.
