Hello all,
Two weeks ago during a freeway onramp pull my clutch pedal engagement point dropped to about 1/8" off the floor. Normally it starts to bite at maybe 1/3-1/2 up through the pedal travel. What's bothering me is that it wasn't an ongoing issue that was slowly getting worse. It was engaging fine, then after one shift the whole engagement point changed. It's been with my mechanic now for a few weeks (I initially had a weird smell after hard pulls that i wanted to get checked out but this happened on the drive over) and I'm expecting an update soon. I just had the whole clutch system replaced by Ford last year (clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, Pilot bearing, flywheel) so im not sure what it could be. Just wondering if any of you have experienced something similar.
