Are there any Extreme Performance tires in the GT PP OEM sizes? I'm talking tires like Potenza RE11, Eagle F1 Supercar G2, or Azenis RT615K. I haven't found anything that is made in both our staggered sizes. If I can't find anything, will probably "settle" for MPSS.

Yeah, I saw those- they are about like the MPSS- so may save some money compared to the MPSS if I don't find anything even stickier.
I am running their predecessor, the DW right now.

The new Conti tires are not Extreme Performance category.

You'd have to go a little bigger than PP sizes. 265/40R19 and 285/35R19.

Yeah, 285/35 is 3% smaller. I already don't like my 3.73 rear and don't want it any shorter...
I'd rather stick with OEM sizes so I don't even have to consider changes in ABS, TCS, gearing, odometer, or speedometer differences OR my snarky dealer not replacing suspension components under warranty due to changing tire sizes. I also realize I am being paranoid and would likely not have any issues with any of the things I just mentioned. :headbonk:

For what use? Mostly track with occasional street, half track/half street but live where it doesn't rain, autox, etc..?

I don't like the "35" sidewall aspect ratio in the rear. BFG Rivals are offered in that size.

Personally, id rather keep the aspect ratios the same, like Bridgestone's RE71R at a 265/35-19 & 285/35-19 or find a set of rear GTPP wheels to run a square setup and open the doors to more options.

Depending on his use, a PSS or ExtremeContact Sport may suffice.

I am in a similar boat. Not much for Extreme Performance tires in stock performance package diameters. Bridgestone re 11 in 285 35 19 and Nitto nto5 in 305 35 19 is what I am probably going to go with.

Nt05 in 305 on a stock pp rear? Will it fit? I was under the impression the Nto5 was not as good as the MPSS, is that wrong?

The Handbook RS4 is available at Tire Rack. I believe it is in the category you are looking for. They have a 275/35/19.

Mostly autox extreme performance summer and you're NOT looking right at the RE71R?

Also 285/35 is "close enough". Lots of good options in that popular size.

If a 2.9% smaller tire that has a 0.8" smaller diameter, and thus a 0.4" smaller sidewall -nearly half an inch smaller than the front! - is "close enough", then by all means go for it. :headbonk:

I wouldn't recommend that 40/35 sidewall stagger. The RE71R is a very sticky autox tire, but it's not as good in the rain or ride quality to a PSS or EC Sport.

Find a set of rear wheels and just run a square setup. That will be very helpful for tire sizes and front grip for autox.

The title of the thread is extreme performance and he specifically said for autox use. So why in the world would you bring up rain performance(the RE71R isnt bad in rain btw, assuming there is usable tread) and comfort?

Fact of the matter is, if you want the stickiest, best autox tire then the RE71R is it. Maybe the RS4 will be as good? Dont know yet.

And specifically in OEM sizes. I guess this just means there are none. GT/CS there are GForce Rivals.
But ya, I daily drove RE01R's a few years ago on a 240SX. With <100 whp, I could barely break traction dropping the clutch! Rain traction was fine if you were careful, especially a lightweight RWD car.
