Hello all,
I'm considering a purchase of a slightly used 2017 GT350. The car appears to have been first registered in May of 2017 which means the warranty is set to expire shortly. What are my best options for extending it? I know the powertrain is good for 5 years. Thanks!

Anderson and Koch have the best prices. I usually wait till about 6 months or 6000 miles before my warranty runs out to get the extended warranty. You have bumper to bumper for 3yrs 36K, and the money is better in my pocket than theirs.

Thanks I looked at them and their prices look really good.
So that's basically another 4 years of warranty tacked on after the first 3. Seems like almost a no brainer. Especially with these cars.
Take a look at the small print. 48 months is usually stated as from date of original purchase so that would only add 12 months.

That's why it was so cheap. You only got 12 extra months of coverage. Sorry if we burst your bubble.

You can purchase up to 84 months. So I have an additional 4 year 48k mile. Ran me like $2200. With the issues we have on these motors. Worth the $ if you ask me. My car is a 2017 with 7k miles. Due to its age it no longer has the factory warranty. However when I purchased the the extended the car was still under factory driving the price down. I think if you bought a exteneded when the car had say 38k miles on it, the price would not make it worth it.

Last November, before my 3 year bumper-to-bumper warranty ran out, I purchased a Ford ESP warranty which gave me an additional four years of protection for $1820 from flood Ford. I’m covered up to 48,000 miles.

I just ran mine through the andersonandkoch website and it came up at $1320 for 7 years/36k. Seems like a pretty good deal. Thanks all for the recommendations!

Most of us don't put high mileage on these cars, so more years and less miles makes more sense. This usually keeps the price down.
I usually wait till my factory warranty is about to run out.
