I was washing my Mach 1 today and noticed that the driver's side exhaust tip finish is cracked. Has anyone experienced this before?

That's not cracking, I suspect it was poorly welded / dressed back too much from the factory (warranty claim)

It has to be as you can't get the tips separately since it's welded on.

I think the outer stainless bit that you see, and the inner perforated bit are two separate items.

They are welded around the perimeter of the rearward face, and then dressed back to give a nice aesthetic finish.

One of your tips wasn’t welded good enough, or dressed back too much
