I'm assuming that's the "sport" on the Ford racing and not the "touring"?

Sounds great. I'm getting one installed next week and I was afraid it might be too much.

I like the Ford sound better... a bit more guttural.

....but after thinking about and looking at the components the MF may allow for better flow due to the larger pipes.

Borla may have just changed my mind from Gibson.

I've seen that video fionic, but it's just that something always pulls me back to the FRPP/Borla sound. Just my opinion though. Maybe biased cause I have the FRPP stingers on my 08:shrug:

Again, just my preference, but this is my order:
1) FRPP
2) Gibson
3) SW

On Borla's website they give a fairly detailed explanation of why exhaust sounds on utube & etc recordings should be taken with a grain of salt :).

Cliff notes, they sound very different in real life.

We all still listen to them though.

Borla's Faq section had technical comments that I thought were interesting.

Borla all the way. Just wish they would hurry the hell up and put out the Type S already!

YouTube videos are a good way to narrow down your selection but ultimately, the only way to decide is to hear the different options in person.

I've seen that SW exhaust video posted elsewhere on the forums and the sound quality is downright horrible. The mic is getting blown out because of the sound level and all you really hear is a garbled exhaust note with a lot of noise in it.

These videos are great, but how does one get a true feel for the sound? Given the variety of speakers out there, how do I really know what I'm getting?
