I only drive my M 1 in sport mode as that’s the exact sound I enjoy. How can I approximate that same sound in a 2014 GT that I’m buying for my summer home? I’m aware the 14 doesn’t have the active exhaust but that’s the extent of my knowledge. Thanks

Something like an AWE Touring or Borla S-Type might fit the bill. The Mach 1 definitely has a unique tone and is one of the reasons why I won't replace the cat back.

Plus One to these, great tone and not too loud!

I originally had RTR mufflers with X pipe on 2014 with catted long tubes and hated it. too raspy, too eco-boost sounding. Switched to GT500 mufflers and it changed completely to where I loved it. Never too loud, and borderline quiet idling. Unfortunately I cant say I know what your Mach sounds like as I have yet to see one in the wild (like bigfoot) and mine is on order, so who knows when that'll appear

Thanks guys. I’m going to take your advice on one of these two, but one more question…the car has an x pipe. Make any difference yes or no?
The AWE Touring comes with a Hpipe, the Hpipe will give a less raspy, much deeper tone than a Xpipe will. The S-Type I believe comes with a Xpipe.
