I have the full 3" ARH exhaust system with the 1"7/8 headers and H pipe.
I sold the headers and H pipe and just ordered 2" ARH headers and 3" X pipe.

Here is my question: After the X pipe the catback, even though listed as a 3" exhaust system, necks down to 2.5. This is pretty far back in the system. Will this hurt power? I'm also wondering on other exhaust systems that are listed as 3", are they?

Thanks guys

Only way to be truly max effort. No bottle necks. You are talking about 1000+ HP here, I think a bottle neck down to 2.5" will have an effect, no matter where it is in the exhaust.
