Evap leak location found where could it be

Did a smoke test and I think I found where the leak could be but still can’t pin point, what could it be and do I need take out suspension?

Nvm, This looks like to be the canister vent. When I close it , smoke doesn’t come out this location

The vent valve is always normally open. This is what draws fresh air into the tank. You need to manually close it with a higher level bi-directional scan tool and then re-run the smoke test to find the true source of your leak.

I believe the EVAP system is part of emissions, and is forever warrantied. Double check that, but I think that's correct.

So just take it into the dealership.

Although it part of emissions, it is not a named component by the word of the law (federal emissions warranty). Essentially, the only covered parts will be the catalytic converters and ECU. And ONLY for emissions related failures, not just anything that might go bad. Also, not forever, but 8 years or 80,000 miles whatever comes first. I believe the state of California and some others may have another longer coverage as well, you would have to check for your state specifically.

It definitely isn't. My dealership tried to charge me $600 to do the EVAP valve on my Ecoboost. May have made them a handsome profit but it lost them a future car sale and all future business from myself.
