For anyone contemplating a trailer hitch for their GT350/GT500/Mach 1/Dark Horse, realize the hitch crosses through the diffuser air tunnels and blocks air flow to the differential heat exchanger. Raising the tunnels to reach the heat exchanger is a practical solution but the charcoal canister is in the way, so, out with the charcoal canister/EVAP system. Modifying the tunnels and shrouding the heat exchanger to the tunnels took some time to fit everything together but there's no cutting or modifications to the existing EVAP lines and all connections to bypass the EVAP system utilize existing quick-connect joints for a clean and simple delete project that can be returned to stock without complications. The engine side EVAP purge line that connects under the master cylinder (easy access if you remove the fender liner) is removed and replaced by a hose with a breather filter on the end to complete the tank vent circuit.
