Update:
Velocity have been very helpful and have sent me a new module free of charge. They really are a pleasure to deal with.

In the meantime I had also contacted EPM directly, to see if those modules could be bought separately. It turns out they can, and EPM were kind enough to send me two modules for the price of one. 🥰

Now I'm happy. My beautiful red tail lights work fine again. 🥳

Welp just finished installing them and I am in LOVE. From s550 euros they are Vland brand and they look great. Quality seems like it’s an oem product

Looks really good I will admit! Are those clear or smoked lenses?

New update:
Nine months later, one of the electronic control modules died again.
I thought, that's OK, I still have two spares, I'll just replace it. So I did. All was fine again.
But then I noticed something else. One of the lamps is dimmer than the other.

Here are the tail lights:

...and the turn signals:

The right lamp is obviously dimmer. I'm sure it wasn't like this from the beginning.
Sadly, this time it isn't just the control module. This time it's the lamp itself that isn't working right - which is a show stopper.

So, for me, no more EPM. They look gorgeous when they work, but you can't trust them to work for more than a few months. They're extremely unreliable, particularly for their high price.

I remember when it was possible to repair the light by just replacing a light blub in under 5 minutes.
Let's wait for what the manufacturer or merchant are going to say.

I'm trying to switch my tail lights to euro but I don't know what's the best brand to get. Any recommendations?
I went with the Ford Ice White package taillights. Ford Performance sells in pairs (M-13504-MC). Forum vendors have them for ~$600. Big advantage in my mind was factory quality and reliability.

Earlier this year I installed the VLAND clear lens taillight assembly. Attached are a couple pics illustrating the before and after. Very happy with the product and install. Not too difficult to program at all.

Your solution seems to be the most logical, HoosierDaddy, it is what I would have done, a no-brainer...

What year did you buy these tail lights? I remember hearing about 2020-21 Batches having issues with the capacitor factory changing specs with out telling EPM and so now EPM have made various updates since then. 2022 Batches released last july so lets see how they hold up now.

Ils ont l'air mieux maintenant. Il est peut-être trop tard pour le dire, mais Ford a maintenant the clear euro tail lights.

I bought them in early 2021, so I guess they might have been the wrong batch.
