I have a question-

Once your car is loaded onto the train, is it still approx 2 weeks to reach port? Is this the norm or do they reach port quicker??

I believe the actual train ride is four days. However if mine left yesterday with Darryn's then it only sat at Flat Rock for five weeks before being put on the train. Once it arrives at Baltimore it's another unknown, some have left in under one week while others have sat waiting for a ship another five weeks it's RIDICULOUS!!!!!! I could have bought one of those European models where you can pick it up from the factory yourself and ship it home. They keep you posted during manufacture and even give you coffee and other royal treatment when you collect!!! :frusty:

Yes, Darryn! It shipped out yesterday and it’s on its way to Baltimore. It should be there about a week. Unfortunately, once it arrives at the port in Baltimore, I’m no longer able to get info on it. You should contact your Ford Dealer or the Ford Australia Customer Relationship Center at +61(0) 386 133673 (13FORD) for more info. Have a nice day!

Thanks guys for your answers. I guess if it was loaded yesterday on the train as I was told, I can expect any where from 6 days to port to 4 weeks!!. Dependant on the state of confusion that we all have come to expect with our Mustang journey!!.

I think I may make the Talisman leaving on the 17th Sept, fingers, toes and the old fella crossed in hope!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And Tysla has began its journey to Savannah, Georgia at this stage.

Being a pessimistic, is there still a change that my car was taken out of the boat and not updated on the Trace and Track website after the boat has left the port???

If it is indeed in the boat, shit is about to get real!

I would think the system is updated if a vehicle is removed from the list. Hopefully yours is on the boat!

Mine would have been waving goodbye as yours sailed away.
Hopefully I'll be on the Tiger departing next Sunday.

Kinda feel that people who ordered around July to August should gets their cars around late Sept to late Oct.

Looks like we get to share this whole journey together. Orderd July15 built July16, and Deysha informs me today that after sitting at Flat Rock since the 20th of last month, ( and I didn't have stripes fitted!! ) that my Pony was loaded on a train last Wednesday:clap2:. I think we're sharing the Choo Choo and hopefully Tiger!!!! Some cars have made it on board a ship a week after arrival! and I choose to believe it's possible Also as I'm supposed to be overseas the last week of October for a couple of weeks, based on my best guess I think being on Talisman would have my Pony arrive while I was away:doh: This is not happening after waiting 16 months
