I have a Comp. Orange on order and just got the Window Sticker.

It also now appears in cotus:
'In Order Processing' completed 23 May.
'In Production' (current stage)


Ordered Sept 2015.

Our Comp Orange GTs were built on the same day.
Was yours brought forward like mine? was going to be built Sep.

No flippin idea! I get all my info from here (and Dasha/Jeff at Ford Service). My local dealer said August last time I called up and asked so probably not too far out.

I see others ordered around Sept 2015 are getting close so not sure it made any difference.

I guess all the oranges will be done sent in the same basket which is Ok by me.

No no no, comes before the build - but its only updated once a week, so the time between window sticker and build can vary by 7 days IMHO.

I had been checking nearly everyday for the window sticker even knowing that it only updates once a week. Mine appeared for me on Tuesday and was the same day as the start of the build.

I just got an email from Ford Australia "Hi Scott, your Mustang Convertible is in build."
...
"Excitement is building

Hi Scott,

Great news, you are officially one step closer to getting behind the wheel of your brand new Shadow Black Mustang Convertible. Production of your vehicle has been completed at the assembly line in Flatrock, Detroit and in the coming days your Mustang with a 5.0l V8 Engine will make its way by train to the port to be shipped. This will take about 20 days.

We will send you another email soon confirming that your vehicle has been shipped and is on its way to Australia. "

This is actually pretty accurate - my Mustang was built just last week and is on its way to the docks, so apart from being a little slow its very interesting.

Looks like Ford Aus is on the right track now!
(it even has a picture of a person driving a black RHD convertible in it!)

I wouldn't worry too much, the email business is a bit of a lottery. I've never received an email and my car was built a month ago.

The whole process is a circus. Rest assured, it will get here when it gets here...
